Description
Study of multimodal wayfinding and trajectories on public spaces around the multimodal hub Lyon Perrache toward 2020.As part of the renewal of the Confluence district long-term project and the first phase of the redevelopment of the PERRACHE multimodal bub, a complex environment in full evolution, the western arch is now forbidden to cars and reserved for active mobility.
The orientation around and in Perrache being already difficult, the SPL Confluence wanted a pedestrian signage to facilitate the appropriation and use of the new passage France Péjot.
The SPL Confluence called on Mobiped following its work on guidance devices in the PEM Perrache, in consultation with the Metropolitan Accessibility Commission conducted in 2013/2014.
- Awareness of active mobility, RMCs and orientation
- Identification of travel generators, mobility services, toponymies and multimodal desire lines, with representation on plan
- Diagnosis of the myriad signalétiques and actors on the Metropolis of Lyon, in and around the PEM Perrache
- Recommendations on the regulatory framework of the roads, the toponymy of spaces, All orientation devices
- Pedestrian signage layout plan, in compliance with universal design principles and the constraints of many stakeholders and visual creation.

Mobiped helped us to realize that wayfinding is a vast area that goes well beyond directional signage, while taking into account the variety of uses, particularly those of people with disabilities.
